Avatec Starts Expansion of MLCC Manufacturing Plant

AVATEC (CEO Park Myung-seop) will invest 101.8 billion won in Hi-Tech Valley, Gumi 5th National Industrial Complex, and expand its multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) manufacturing plant by 2024.



Avatec exchanged MOUs with Gyeongbuk-do and Gumi-si on the 16th. The total scale of expansion of the MLCC plant is 54,328㎡. AVATEC expects to expand its global supply chain with this expansion.

The investment was decided to expand production due to the recent surge in demand from customers for automotive and industrial MLCC.
