Human rights labor management policy

Avatec Co., Ltd. strictly adheres to domestic and international norms related to human rights and labor, respects the dignity and human rights of all stakeholders, and is making its utmost efforts to practice human rights management based on this respect.

Takes the lead in eradicating harsh treatment in the workplace, and does not threaten or subjugate workers with verbal abuse, violence, mental and physical coercion, sexual harassment, or any other harsh or inhumane treatment.

Ensures that all work is voluntary and does not engage in the buying and selling of individuals, slave labor, forced labor, bonded labor, contract labor, or prison labor.

Employs workers who are older than the greater of either 15 years of age or the minimum legal employment age, and does not use child labor for any purpose.

Does not force overtime or night work on young workers.
05.
Protects student workers according to relevant laws and provides necessary education and support.
06.
Complies with all relevant laws regarding working hours and days off, and all overtime work is carried out voluntarily.
07.
Ensures that all workers receive at least the legal minimum wage and allowances, and complies with applicable laws and regulations.
08.
Guarantees the freedom of association for all workers and ensures there is no interference, discrimination, retaliation, or harsh treatment related to this right.
09.
Establishes policies and standards through this policy and continuously improves this policy and related standards.
10.
Does not discriminate against workers based on age, disability, ethnicity, gender, marital status, nationality, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, union membership, or any other status protected by national law during recruitment and other employment practices. Additionally, pregnancy or medical examinations are not required except as mandated by law or necessary for workplace safety, and workers are not unfairly discriminated against based on examination results.
Ethical regulations

Chapter 1: Basic Ethical Conduct.

  • Section 1: Perform assigned duties with honesty and integrity, and strive to be a model of ethical citizenship.

    Article 1: Understand and comply with all company policies and regulations, and perform and report work fairly and honestly.

    Article 2: Do not discredit the company's honor or spread false information or create an atmosphere of distrust.

    Article 3: Maintain manners and dignity in all internal and external activities, and refrain from ostentatious behavior.

  • Section 2: Clearly distinguish between public and private matters and do not engage in actions contrary to the company's interests.

    Article 4: In the event of a conflict of interest between the company and an individual during the performance of duties, do not use the company's physical and intellectual property for personal purposes.

  • Section 3: Do not engage in political activities on behalf of the company.

    Article 5: Do not use the company's name or assets for political purposes.

    Article 6: Do not participate in political activities or make donations to specific individuals or parties on behalf of the company.

Chapter 2: Ethics Regarding Customers and Suppliers.

  • Section 1: Do not accept or provide improper monetary or material benefits, and compete in a fair and lawful manner.

    Article 7: Obtain all information necessary for job performance through legitimate means.

    Article 8: Do not receive or provide unfair compensation, remuneration, or entertainment in relation to work.

  • Section 2: Strive for customer satisfaction and mutual development with suppliers.

    Article 9: Do the utmost for customer satisfaction by ensuring the quality, cost, and delivery time of company products and quickly resolve any customer inconveniences.

    Article 10: Select suppliers based on clear criteria such as technical capability, quality, reliability, service, and price.

    Article 11: Maintain a fair trade order with suppliers on an equal footing and do not exploit a dominant position.

    Article 12: Support suppliers with technology to help them become competitive and achieve mutual growth.

Chapter 3: Ethics Towards the Nation and Society.

  • Section 1: Fulfill the company's social role and obligations for a prosperous society.

    Article 13: Create employment, enhance the quality of products and services, and actively participate in community service and disaster relief activities.

    Article 14: Contribute to the nation and society through profit generation via sound and transparent management.

    Article 15: Contribute to the development of the local community by returning a portion of profits to society.

    Article 16: Comply with laws for environmental protection and conduct environmentally friendly business.

    Article 17: Incorporate environmental conservation activities (resource saving, recycling, waste separation, etc.) into daily life.

    Article 18: Contribute to the protection of the earth's environment by producing various facilities that meet domestic and international environmental standards.

Chapter 4: Ethics of Fair Competition and Transaction.

  • Section 1: Ensure that all transactions are conducted with equal participation opportunities and pursue mutual development through transparent and fair trading.

    Article 19: Respect the market economy order and pursue fair competition.

    Article 20: Strive to create a clean trading environment and maintain a fair trade order.

    Article 21: Ensure that companies meeting supplier selection criteria are not unfairly excluded from competition.

  • Section 2: Respect the culture and customs of the countries targeted for business and comply with their laws.

    Article 22: Be aware of and comply with all domestic and international laws related to business operations.

    Article 23: Respect local cultures and customs and maintain the etiquette and dignity as a global citizen.

Chapter 5: Ethics Regarding Human Dignity and Safety.

  • Section 1: All employees are respected for their human dignity and legal rights.

    Article 24: Provide equal employment opportunities regardless of gender, religion, regional origin, educational background, nationality, race, age, or disability.

    Article 25: Treat individuals fairly based on their abilities and performance

    Article 26: Do not engage in behavior that causes sexual embarrassment, such as temptations, jokes, or physical contact in the workplace.
